Psychedelic pop groups? Two a penny these days. And all of them (despite being pretty good) have to wait for the right moment (or until they sign with a good label) to launch any EPs….

In the case of ANR (awesome new republic) it has taken them a while to get this well known (already two albums in 2005 & last year) , but we’re pretty much convinced their awareness will grow exponentially in the coming months….

This duo from Miami (John Hancock & Brian Robertson) got their “Stay Kids” named  last “album of the week” for 2010 @ the Indie Rough Trade shop in London, and like many bands coming from the southern coasts of the States these days they’ve become they “new sound” to take into account, considering they’ve already played with the other Pyschedelic kings of the scene…. Neon Indian, Animal Collective, No Age….

ANR – “The Endless Field of Mercury” from Jamie Harley

and a live one…
