Seems like several Zizzi restaurants here in the UK are getting local artists to paint a little bit on their white boring walls… just like this one in St Pauls with Aberdeen artist Amy Murray giving it some color after opening last month…
It took her 4 days after her pitch was accepted to finish this mural and even worked while people were eating…
Amy just graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in Drawing and Painting this year and “specialises in idiosynchratice figure painting and portraiture with a natural bent towards the processes of printmaking and illustration”.
And the truth is that her expertise in portraiture comes to a very pop level (which you can see on her website), although we still prefer her tea-pizza party.
