Elfman & Burton box

Pretty much we all grew up with Danny Elfman’s “I am the who when you call who’s there”, scared, fascinated.. having fun with his amazing music and Tim Burton’s good scares….

And if you’re a big fan of Tim Burton’s works (especially his 90s films) you’re obviously also a big fan of Danny Elfman’s music. We wouldn’t understand the creepy, twisted magic of Mr. Burton without the melodious, orchestral sounds of Mr. Elfman… & viceversa.

Now they’re both releasing a 25th anniversary box (well, Warner Bros is…), a limited “Collector’s edition” that collects expansions of the 13 original scores that Elfman has composed for Burton’s films.

What’s in it? What’s in it? That’s the point of it, not to know!

Well, a 16CD library,  a Skeleton USB Key with all the music collection, a book with artwork by Mr Burton and the box itself has a Zoetrope inside. There are only 1000 boxes like this one, which shall be released next month, unfortunately the price is a bit excessive ($500), but these kind of “limited edition collectible” boxes are always this expensive.

So if you can afford it, now that Christmas is coming, this would be an amazing present. Do you know all the Christmas carols by heart, just like Jack? It might be more fun to kidnap Mr Sandy Claws!
