Amazing discovery yesterday when listening to the current Brooklyn music panorama…. Twin Shadow (George Lewis Jr), a very promising retronika master whose mellow voice matches undeniably perfect with all those old synthesizers sounds brought from his living-period in Berlin….
He’s on tour now so if you’re lucky you might get to see him for a very affordable price (around £7 in London late October, or a bit more …$14 in NY next September 18th) .
His first album “Forget” is already out in the States and shall be released under Grizzly Bear‘s Chris Taylor’s growing label “Terrible Records” later this month, but you can already listen to it on-line 😉 and even download “Slow” from his website.
