Yes Way Festival @ Auto-Italia – SE London

, 10 August 2010

Another weekend, another summer festival. And this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday the “underground” London and UK scene will try to claim the always “healthy” situation of the Brit panorama @ Yes Way music (and art) festival.

Some groups already into the scene and going up like Male Bonding who already have an LP out with a big label (Sub Pop)…

or Lovvers. Others are still getting there while improvising but looking very very promising (like Family or Runners)…. all in all 41 acts will perform across two stages, alongside the work of visual artists (you’ll also have the typical cool “veggie” & organic food and non-profit stuff you get lately in all festivals).

RUNNERS – STAY FROSTY by Runners

The event is a collaboration between promoter and local London label Upset The Rhythm and Auto-Italia – a project space that aims to “explore and support the practices of a growing peer group of artists, residing in a former car showroom in Peckham”, South East London.

And it’s not very expensive…. £18 all 3 days or £8 per day (Friday for a fiver). Sounds good to you all this indie, synth-pop and cool melodic punk…. then come and pop in with us (more info this way)
