The submission page for “London Lives” just opened a few days ago (@ The Guardian page), they’re not giving much time (until July 25th) for you to think, prepare, elaborate, create a London postcard but… hey, if you win… you get a large-scale reproduction of your work work featuring on Blackfriars Bridge and in an exhibition at Bankside Gallery.

London Lives is a free-to-enter art competition developed in partnership by Bankside Gallery, Cass Art and Network Rail, and supported by the Guardian. The competition aims to explore the concept of London and what it is, celebrating its renowned energy, diversity and originality. “From its pulsating streets, bustling transport system, history and colourful markets, through to its serene parks, magnificent river and an evolving cityscape – the judges want to see what London really means to you” (see, that’s why we think you really have to feel London, if not….)
