Now look who got together! David Longstreth’s classical touch “Dirty Projectors” & the (now dead?) queen of avant-garde electro Björk…. after  Brandon Stosuy from Stereogum asked them to collaborate together in  this great project.

Mount Wittenberg Orca” is the collaboration between these minds in the form of a charity record (for which you can pay anything between $7 or $100… up to you).

Mount Wittenberg Orca is called Mount Wittenberg Orca because it is about whales. It was inspired by events on Mt. Wittenberg in California and elaborates on David Longstreth’s obsession with vocal harmony introduced on Dirty Projectors’ 2009 album Bitte Orca. Enjoy! (rest of their trippy teaser videos here)
