Whim: Preserve toothbrush

Recycled toothbrushes? Yep, Preserve a company specialized in manufacturing design products made from recycled materials just released their new version of an environmentally-friendly toothbrush in 5 colors….

Made mainly from recycled yogurt cups they cost around $3 each… which is about the same as any Oral B toothbrush….

Ok, they might not have 3D effects with gum-massaging bristles, tongue cleaners or bombastic multilevel gum stimulators…. but they’re recycled and they probably get the same job done: brush your dirty teeth.

And when you’ve finished using it (after 3 months!) you can send it back to recycle with their Mail Back Pack system! Their packaging doubles as a return envelope. Just pop your used Preserve toothbrush inside and send it back to them for recycling. Alternatively you can also recycle it via their Gimme 5 program. Preserve launched as a company in 1997 with the Toothbrush. When you send your Toothbrush back to them, a partner company will grind it up and turn it into plastic lumber for use in new picnic tables, park benches, and boardwalks.

And you must be thinking… wha? You’re proposing today a recycled toothbrush as an attraction? Well, yes!  And you should check-out the rest of their recycled products that go from razors to storage sets, cutting boards…etc
