Museum of Everything 4 – London

02/09/2011 - 25/10/2011

Everything is back!

Last year it was all about taxidermy and weird circus-related monsters & fairies. This year…., we still have to unveil those well kept secrets but we’ll provide you with details very very soon… less than a month to go!

Their 4th exhibition opens on September 2nd in central London featuring  over 50 new and emerging contemporary artists from studios across the world… what will they bring us this time?

Some details just started to pop up this morning: 50 new discoveries in the new show, from wrestle-maniac Tomoyuki Shinki’s technicolour ring of combat to the magical flying cities of Teutonic meister Hans-Jorg Georgi…

Always bizarre, always surprising, but as fame and visitors increase MOE need larger, wider, more bombastic spaces. And this year they have an incredible partner to showcase all that crazy stuff: London’s poshy Selfridges stores. They could have gone for Harrods… but Selfridges is probably a more “centric” approach.

The royal fixations of Ruby Bradford, the musical letters of Harald Stoffers, the gun-toting maidens of conspiracy theorist Giovanni Galli… I mean.. who other than the people from MOE can compile a weirder and greater collection of anything and everythingness?

Besides the “free” coffee it seems the 4th edition will also bring some live events, weekly art-making workshops and all sorts of essential ephemera.. It seems though, the museum will be open for a shorter period this time (only 2 months? boooo), and should run from early Sept until late October.

Btw, MOE are still looking for people, volunteers & raising some money via their charitygiving profile, it’s never too late to support them, so go on, spare some cash just like we did!
