Ici & Maintenant @ Lili-Ubel – Paris

Caroline Lejeune is specialized in representing the chaos, the complexity and effervescence of our life with all its complexity and beauty. And despite the dramatic background of her latest works there is a serene atmosphere in everything she creates. She takes a few steps back to appreciate the beauty of the world, something we should do when visiting her latest paintings at the upcoming “Ici & Maintenant” which opens next Thursday @ Lili-Ubel in Paris.

Ici & Maintenant is the first 2013 exhibition for this eastern Parisian gallery which unites the works of two Carolines, on one side the contemporary and realist painter Caroline Lejeune and on the other sculptor Caroline Corbeau, both complementary in their desterity and their willingness to express what dwells within.
