The call for entries and deadline for submissions to The Lumen Prize 2014 has been announced for June 30.
Works being accepted (for a fee), include animation, app art, interactive installation, glitch art, web-based art and photo-montage, among others, for the opportunity to be in the running for one of seven prizes from a fund totalling $5,750, including first prize of $3000.
The top 100 works will be presented on the Lumen online gallery, the top 25 to tour Athens, Cardiff, New York, London and Amsterdam. Let’s ignore the fact that the announcement also lists ‘iPad’ as its own medium.
See the Lumen Prize website for details. **
