“Dear Reader. Don’t read.”: Index Art Book Fair at Mexico City’s Jumex Museum, Apr 14 -16

11 April 2017

The 2017 edition of the Index Art Book Fair at Mexico City’s Jumex Museum opens April 14 to 16.

Now in its third year, Index and the Jumex Foundation are co-presenting the international artist book fair. The fair was founded by a group of designers, artists and curators including Jorge de la Garza, Maxime Dossin, Chantal Garduño, Tania Garduño, Frances Horn and Rafael Prieto.

Dedicated to creating a space for “dialogue around art, architecture and design publications,” the event brings together independent publishers from all over the world that take an experimental approach to editing.

In addition, there will also be accompanying exhibitions Ulises Carrión‘s Dear Reader. Don’t read, and an ephemeral event where language is the main medium in Tania Pérez Córdoba and Francesco Pedraglio‘s ‘Spoken Word Gallery.’

See the Index Art Book Fair website for the full programme and details.**
