‘In lieu of a liane’

Anna Franceschini @ Vera Cortês, Jul 1 – Sep 17

1 July 2016

Anna Franceschini is presenting solo exhibition In lieu of a liane at Lisbon’s Vera Cortês, opening July 1 and running to September 17.

The press release for the show is a conversation between the Milan-based artist and curator Luís Silva, discussing the show of “appearances, looks, surfaces” and “white lies”. Featuring choreography, videos and objects exploring the displacement of space and time and inspired by J. G. Ballard’s 1969 novel Drowned World, the exhibition will open with a performance with Laura Pante at 10:30 pm.

Franceschini also recently took part in the 63rd-77th STEPS-hosted Il Futuro era bellissimo per noi group exhibition in Paris.
