Samara Scott in conversation @ Pump House Gallery, Aug 20

19 August 2016

Samara Scott is appearing in a conversation called ‘Shared, drunk, sweated’ with curator Guido Santandrea at London’s Pump House Gallery on August 20.

The evening, coinciding with the London-based artist’s current Developer show in the space, practice with reference to Gilles Clément, a garden designer, botanist and entomologist, in addition to the artist’s Lonely Planet (2015) publication and will be addressing the ecological discourse inherent in her recent work and new commission for the gallery.

Bologna-born Santandrea is a London-based curator who is currently a PhD candidate at the department of Visual Cultures at Goldsmiths University. Scott, who recently exhibited at Frieze London 2015 and East Side Projects in Birmingham, focuses on a saturated materiality within virtual space in her work. The event is free but booking is advised.
