Evita Vasiļjeva @ Four To Seven, June 21 – Jul 22

20 June 2016

Evita Vasiļjeva is presenting solo exhibition Nothing lost, nothing found at  Riga’s Four To Seven, opening June 21 and running to July 22.

There is little information on the exhibition itself, aside from a string of Aquarius water-bearer Zodiac symbol emojis and an announcement that the opening will also the Riga-born, Amsterdam-based artist’s ‘if you can’t, engage’ publication, published in collaboration with kim? Contemporary Art Centre. But expect, perhaps, more explorations of sculpture and its complex relationship to its surroundings.

Vasiļjeva has previously shown in galleries like New York’s Art in General and Amsterdam’s de Ateliers, and will be taking part in an AIROOM residency curated Juste Kostikovaite in August.

Meanwhile, the independent Four To Seven art space is run by artist Kaspars Groshevs and featured in a recent survey by aqnb of art to look out for in the Latvian capital late early this year.

See the Four To Seven website for details.**
