Today is the day! Compota de Manatí ( Manatee compote) will be presented this afternoon in the recently open Galician comic store “Alita Comics“, too bad they aren’t coming down to Madrid for the presentation, but nevertheless it’s a unique ocassion to admire the latest work by the Miñoco collective, that is… Jorge Fernández, Yago García, Rooster and María Álvarez.
The new fanzine, like any other good experiment, should be spicey and full-flavored with a good mix of unidentifiable hints the four different cooks have been preparing in their secret cuisine for months. And if everything goes well, then they’ll be off to hunt some more manatees for upcoming enriching numbers.
We wonder if the publication will make it to the rest of the Spanish comic stores…. or even come up here or the rest of Europe… but the initiative is what matters. Here’s an extract…
