Project Native Informant is bringing artists Leslie Kulesh and Sæmundur Þór Helgason together for an evening titled Vanity Fair | Demo Mode, taking place on January 14.
No information is given about the nature of the exhibition, or even its predominant medium, but knowing Kulesh’s work – ranging from her T.A.G. “post-digital” clothing collection to her “Glamourshotz”©®™ show at Lima Zulu – it’s going to be full of pop culture references.
Goldsmiths MFA graduate Helgason’s work is less familiar to us, but curated by artist Cory Scozzari – who recently contributed to the group show Do I want an Old Fashioned? – it’ll be interesting, we can guess that much.
