Andrey Bogush will present solo show, When Everything Is Over So We Can Discuss at Helsinki’s Suomen valokuvataiteen museo (The Finnish Museum of Photography), opening May 17 and running August 14.
Helsinki- and Milan-based Bogush makes work by taking snap shots of his daily life and editing them in digital post-production software. The image produced by the camera and the image produced by the artist with the photo-editing software become intertwined.
The artist has shown extensively across Helsinki with a group exhibition nicely titled Basic Photography currently on at SIC gallery, and recently in new South London project space, Limbo. Last year he was commissioned by Prada to create the background imagery for their SS15 campaign.
