I Love Roses When They’re Past Their Best, Apr 16

7 April 2014

On April 16, London’s Arcadia Missa will host the official book launch for I Love Roses When They’re Past Their Best, a beautiful poetry anthology edited by Harry Burke and featuring poems by Bunny Rogers, Cassandra Gillig, Luna Miguel, Marianne Morris, Jayinee Basu, and many more.

With 16 young poets showcased in the experimental poetry anthology, the book is an exploration of balladry in the digital age. Reflecting not only novel forms of poetic composition created by artists working in conjunction with their computers, but also the social consequences of living emotional lives online, I Love Roses When They’re Past Their Best pushes the age-old medium to new territory, actively exploring how the potentials of poeticism have changed with the advent of the internet.
