On April 17, Paris’s Galerie Joseph Tang opens its upcoming exhibition, Jo-ey Tang: Like an intruder, the speaker removes his cap.
Besides this vague Calvino-esque title, little else is known about the exhibition. No images are shown, no descriptors given. No one received a press release. The effect is exactly like that of one Calvino’s stories; from the moment you begin the story, you are within it, already an audience to and accomplice in its poetic turns of fate.
While the veil of mystery exhibition hangs over the exhibition, its featured artist, Jo-ey Tang, can be found all over the great wide web. Find much of his mystifying work on his self-titled website, order the book Linear Manual edited by Martin Kohout and featuring Jo-ey Tang.
