Borderless: In Time @ Museum Van Loon, Nov 24 – 27

21 November 2016

The Borderless: In Time group exhibition at Amsterdam’s Museum Van Loon is opening November 24 and running to November 27.

Curated by David C. Terry, the event is running as part of Amsterdam Art Weekend and features work by Orit Ben-Shitrit, Mari Jaye Blanchard, James Case-Leal, Martha Colburn, Eric Corriel, Lisa Crafts, Michael Greathouse and  Faith Holland among others.

Taking place simultaneously at venues in Amsterdam, Berlin and New York, the event is curated around the theme and challenge of borders, or rather the prospect of  “living without borders” and how they have come to be defined in past and present. Each artist will respond to the theme via time-based, digital media and film work.

There will also be a participatory discussion ‘Sharing Perspectives: Connecting Art’s Impact Through History’ held by Lauren Reid and David Terry to explore “the ever-shifting role, impact and potential of art in society.”

See the Museum Van Loon website for details.**
