Bloop

Bloop

21 August 2011

Flipping through our friend  Waone Interesni‘s newest work in Ibiza and we suddenly realized the Balearic island just organized their first global Contemporary & Street-Art Festival “Bloop” a couple of weeks ago!

Maybe trying to bring Ibiza back to its glorious artistic years when Dali, Peter Kinsley or Lord Sidney used to transform the island into a bohemian and arty hippie happy paradise, the local major and many art galleries, music shops and organizations (brought by the people @ Biokip) have now created “bloop“… hopefully establishing itself as a must street-art mini-fest like Italy’s FameFest.

Quite an important number of well-known artists such as Robo, Sztuka Fabryka or Acampante participated in this first edition  which also included a well-curated program with indoor & outdoor activities including interactive installations, performances and even workshops for kids. Oh well, we’ll wait till next years. More info & photos on their website.
