Life Babies @ 12ø Collective, Jul 18 – 21

18 July 2016

The Life Babies group exhibition is on at London’s 12ø Collective, opening July 18 and running to July 21.

The press release, found only on the artist-run curatorial collective’s various web platforms, as well as in Facebook posts shared by Life Babies curator, Gabrielle de la Puente is an italicised description of the desire to bring together work made by artists that needs “sharing carefully and handling slowly”.

The exhibition is viewable by appointment only and suggests to set up an atmosphere where the works, comprising of sculpture, video and drawing, act as company to those who wish to journey and spend time with them.

Artists include Emily Wang, JB Shaw, Michael Lacey, HP Parmley (aka human pony), Sarah Boulton, Zarina Muhammad, who will be doing a reading during the short exhibition, and Alexandra Gribaudi.

See the 12ø Collective website for more details.**

I still pick my nose @ Wayward Gallery, May 7 – 9

4 May 2015

London’s Wayward Gallery is bringing in the I still pick my nose group exhibition, opening this Thursday May 7 and running throughout the weekend.

The East London gallery welcomes seven new artists participating in the group show, and tells us to “[e]xpect walls plastered with drawings and paintings, free stickers, a shot girl”. Someone named Gabrielle (participating artist, Gabrielle de la Puente, most likely) is “trying to acquire (steal) a wheelie bin” and someone named Phil (artist Philip Williams, perhaps) is “doing something with coffee bags…”.

Participating in I still pick my nose alongside Williams and de la Puente are artists Anne-Dauphine BorioneMolly Gough, Alexandra Gribaudi, Hiroaki Onuma and Sam Shaw.

See the exhibition page for details. **
