And in this case this is a “third” for American actor (but also painter) Martin Mull @ Ben Brown F.A. who next Wednesday will be opening a new solo exhibition with some of his latest works… paintings centered around the discordant promises of post-World War II suburban America he grew up with.

Deeper paintings filled with complex narratives and unlikely situations but open to the viewer’s interpretation. “It is more of a psychological story that is moody, haunting and sometimes disturbing as he delves with insight into the underlying flaws of the American dream.”

Compact cinematic snap shots, or old photographs which combined with the unexpected bursts of colours become essential components of live theatre, film and vintage television which seem taken from our collective memory.
