Torus (aka Joeri Woudstra) is self-releasing EP These Cars Do Not Exist on September 4, with a preview of ‘Chroniko’ premiering on AQNB today. The live recording is taken from a 24:24 multimedia piece by the Den Haag-based DJ and producer with visual work by himself and artist Mark Prendergast.

Consisting audio loops and sketches put together during quarantine, the piece premiered as part of the web edition of Balance Club / Culture Festival in May and follows January’s The Flash split album release with malibu‘s ambient side-project DJ Lostboi. ‘Chroniko’ builds on Prendergast’s bird recordings and Woudstra’s soaring pads with their own glitched atmospherics that rise and crash with euphoric waves of emotion and escape.**

Torus’s These Cars Do Not Exist EP is being self-released on September 4, 2020.
