Born and raised in New York, with time spent in London where she received a Masters from Goldsmiths in 2013, Legacy has organised shows and events at the likes of London’s ICA, MoMA PS1 and The Studio Museum in Harlem, where she is currently Associate Curator of Exhibitions. Speaking from her New York home, Russell unpacked topics from her forthcoming book out via Verso Books September 29, Glitch Feminism: A Manifesto, exploring digital selfhood through the critical lenses of blackness and queerness.
