Natlek is releasing EP Re-Education via Milan’s Merge Layers on October 18, with preview track ‘Little Place (Siete Catorce Remix)’ premiering on AQNB today. The Italian producer and label boss is part of what’s been described as a new wave of leftfield techno and underground club music.

The record features three tracks with titles like ‘Education’ and ‘Resolute’, which follow minimal crisp and crunchy beats with a smooth low-end. There are remixes by Treviso’s Chevel and London’s Dance System (aka L-Vis 1990), while NAAFI affiliate Siete Catorce contributes this rework by distorting and reversing its already pitched down vocal sample, while plunging it into deep bass lines and a groovy hang drum rhythm. **
