Tuomas A. Laitinen presents solo exhibition A Porous Share at Helsinki Contemporary opening May 5 and running to June 4.

The installation will consist of a series of glass sculptures and ‘landscapes’ made inside light boxes that explore energy and matter through a process of circulation. His research is concerned with biopolitics and ecology, and will look at traces of chemical processes in particular for this exhibition.

In a layering of events and processes, the landscape will act as “an imaginary archaeological stage on which fact and fiction are chaotically mixed” and will look at the “adaptation to the future via the interplay between human and technology.”
