Laura Schawelka, Useless Twin (2016) exhibition photos

, 17 January 2017

Laura Schawelka‘s solo exhibition Useless Twin is on at Los Angeles’ Garden, which opened December 9 2016 and is running until January 30, 2017.

The show is the first to open the new space, run by Britte Geijer and Zach Korol-Gold, is located in the room of Geijer’s apartment, and set up to support experimental emerging artists.

The installation worked with photo, video and sculpture to explore the abstracted and associated object, where photographs function “as a temporal membrane separating past and present like a skin.”**

Laura Schawelka’s Useless Twin solo exhibition is on at Los Angeles’ Garden, running December 9 to January 30, 2017.
