v1984, ‘Got Me Good tool/refix’ + tour dates

, 5 July 2016

v1984 (aka Chris Ramos) has announced some UK and Ireland tour dates, running between July 3 to 16.

The announcement comes with a remix of Ciara’s 2012 release ‘Got Me Good‘ (tool/refix), which is a notably more clubby affair that usual, following the Cleveland-based producer’s debut Becoming N(one) EP, released on Glacial Industries on May 13.

Carrying on from what aqnb contributor G. Rench Beal called “a billowing, formidable event, preening its own curls and textures” into the more physical realm of movement, the track still features the characteristic “high-pressure polish” of rhythmic, if not slightly more urgent beats.

Ramos will be performing venues in Ireland, Manchester and Bristol, with supports from the likes of  Shriekin, Odeko and Maxmillion Dunbar.
