Charlie Godet Thomas opens a new solo exhibition titled Torschlusspanik, running at London’s Vitrine Gallery from November 24 to January 23.
Torschlusspanik comes as Thomas’s first solo London show, bridging sculpture, photography and painting to create a series of new cast works that come together in a site-specific installation.
Inspired by the intersection between language and materiality, Thomas’s installation play with ideas of protection (or being left out of the protective walls, which the German title hints to), the unavoidable transience of all things, and stories that give it all life.
