Los Angeles’s 356 S. Mission will be hosting Susan Cianciolo for a screening of her early films as well as a conversation with the artist on November 12.
Emerging from the fashion industry, before “dropping out” to become an artist, Cianciolo has developed a multimedia practice. At this show, she will exhibit some early films, including, ‘Pro-Abortion-AntiPink’ (1996), ‘Diadal’ (1997) and ‘Run with Zeros’ (1998, with Antek Walzek).
Following the screening, Cianciolo will be in conversation with Aaron Rose and Sophie von Olfers to discuss fashion, film and multidisciplinary arts.
