, 25 September 2010

More irrational neo-nationalism in the upcoming BioShock Infinite (expected in 2012) where anarchists loose and immigrants have no place …. a very direct speech given by the guys @ Irrationalgames for their new re-imagined floating and steampunked city of Columbia… set in 1912.

Players will be controlling in this new episode former Pinkerton agent: Booker DeWitt who’s contracted to go to this city in search of a girl named Elizabeth…. a young woman imprisoned in Columbia since childhood. Booker develops a relationship with Elizabeth, augmenting his abilities with hers so the pair may escape from a city that is literally falling from the sky. DeWitt must learn to fight foes in high-speed Sky-Line battles, engage in combat both indoors and amongst the clouds, and harness the power of dozens of new weapons and abilities.

If not the playing style remains very BioShock with the mix of gun&telekinesis superpowers to fight  … Watch a 10min delightful demo video…
