“Only the crumbliest, flakiest chocolate, tastes like chocolate never tasted before”, the famous jingle from the 80s for promoting Cadbury‘s Flake isn’t used anymore but the iconic products keeps getting suggestive ads…This last one comes (again) from the magic labs of Fallon (UK) and esteemed Director Baillie Walsh (he directed Flashbacks of a Fool). The ad aired for the first time last June on Channel 4 and completely reinvents the visual advertising tradition of such a female-oriented product like Flake. We were almost certain it was a Dior or Channel perfume ad until the very end. Partly because of the dress produced by Couture Designer Anthony Price and donned by ethereal Russian Model Yulia Lobova (music “What must be done” by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis).
