What kind of Christian do you feel like being today? German artist Stefan Strumbel created these “Kruzifix” series with colour splashes for his solo show, Home Sweet Home, displayed at the Circleculture Gallery in Berlin.
Kruzifix from Stefan Strumbel puts a pop art spin on a religious icon. Using bright, vibrant, neon colours, Strumbel puts the traditional object into a new, partly provocative context. On an abstract level, Strumbel deals with the paradigms of “home“ and simultaneously questions its concept.
