Game: Little Big Planet 2

news

LBP represented quite a revolution (and a genuine asset for Sony) when it was unveiled a couple of years ago. Since then this puzzle-platform game whose main attraction has always been its tremendous flexibility for user-generated content has seen more than 2,3million levels being shared & created on-line…

LBP is more than a game, it’s a whole new way of interacting, playing … it’s even a coding language!

The idea of LBP 2 goes far beyond, you will be able not only to create other characters with AI or incorporate your voice & sounds, you’ll be capable of programming entire games within each level… fancy a Tetris? or a Space Invaders? any handmade arcade?

Sony & Media Molecule aren’t closing the gamer with a story to follow, the possibilities and greatness of this game (or even better, the limits) depend on the imagination of the user. The time spent by it’s on-line community in generating & building impossible structures, puzzles or films can only be rewarded with other user’s recognition.

Poor Sackboys (our new favourite gaming pet) they yet don’t know for how long they’ll still be exploited…Will Microsoft’s Kodu ever get to be as good?
