‘U:L:O ii’

U:L:O II @ Interstate Projects, Jul 14 – 31

11 July 2016

The  U:L:O group exhibition is on at New York’s Interstate Projects, opening July 14 and running to July 31.

The gathering sees Interstate invite three curators or curatorial project spaces to organise individual shows in the ‘Upper’, ‘Lower’, and ‘Outside’ of their space.

For U:L:O II, invited curators are London/ Vienna project space, Jupiter Woods who bring artists Corinna HelenelundLydia Ourahmane and Harry Sanderson with the title that a body knows regardless; Nichole Caruso and artists Kristen Jensen and Alina Tenser for Something Bright, Then Holes, and Young Adults, introduced by Al Bedell and featuring several artists including Clark Filo and Borna Sammak whose Town Crier solo exhibition at American Medium aqnb reviewed last month.

Each section comes with its own text —one a Dear Diary story and the other two more conventional press releases, suggesting that there is a looser structure within the tighter plan and that each curator/s will respond to the specificity of their allotted part and its architecture.

See the Interstate Projects website for further details.**
