My House In Vegas

Artists Dorota Gaweda and Egle Kulbokaite are presenting their a future X research project through online platform My House in Vegas on January 13.

Also featuring music by Stockholm-based producer Daniel linatti, the announcement by the Young Girl Reading Group and Agatha Valkyrie Ice co-founders comes accompanied by limited information aside from a couple of cryptic references to social media personalities Dasha Zhukova and Essena O’Neil.

Both these famous names come accompanied by an aphorism –”They say that life can be lonely at the top”, for the art collector and wife of Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich, and “We are dwelling within an illusion that no one is present”, for the Australian teen model and instagram ‘cewebrity’ who made headlines for her very public meltdown in response to the pressures of a life lived online.

My House In Vegas brings egg, the first stage of the collaborative project from anAudience, launching online on the project space website on June 10.

anAudience is an ongoing collaboration between Iceland’s Jeremiah Gudmundson and the US’s Damarcus Fontaine, giving birth to the characters Gudmundson and Fontaine who, as the project notes “only exist in this collaboration…[o]utside this project they operate under a different identity”.

The collaborative team brings their latest project to Berlin’s artist-run project space, My House In Vegas, which offers a binary platform, allowing artists to exhibit both physically and digitally during a three-day residency period.
