Maeve Brennan

Maeve Brennan @ Outpost Gallery, Aug 18 – Sep 11

17 August 2016

Maeve Brennan is presenting Jerusalem Pink at Norwich’s Outpost gallery, opening August 18 and running to September 11.

The work takes place in Palestine and documents an architectural survey of the Dome of the Rock and the processes of its repair and restoration between an archaeologist, a stone worker, a geologist and an architect.  The exhibition includes a film, as well as takeaway souvenir lighters for the audience.

Brennan lives and works between London and Beirut and is currently working on a new film co-commissioned by Chisenhale Gallery, Spike Island and Whitworth Art Gallery which will be presented across the three venues in 2017.
