November Film Festival @ Goldsmiths, Nov 17 – 20

The November Film Festival is on at London’s Goldsmiths University, running November 17 to 20. 

The event is curated by Screen and Audiovisual Research Unit, and brings together a range of video art, film, media art, documentary as well as ethnographic and narrative films. The festival also includes debates and exchange through symposiums and Q&As, including the ‘Politics of the Amateur Image’ workshop series moderated by Richard MacDonald and featuring Noah Angell, Francis Gooding and Onyeka Igwe.

The event brings together a long line-up of local and international artists, including Lisa Truttmann & Behrouz Rae showing ‘Babash’, James N. Kienitz Wilkins‘s ‘Special Features’, Helen Anna Flanagan‘s exploration of the limitations of language in ‘Friday’, Azadeh Navai‘s silent meditation ‘Friday Mosque’, Patrick Hough‘s ‘Object Interviews (Part I, II & III)’, Maeve Brennan‘s London premier of ‘Jerusalem Pink’, Anna Zett‘s ‘This Unwieldy Object’ and ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ by Jaakko Pallasvuo & MSL, among many others.
