As part of Deptford X Fringe Festival 2015, Sean Roy Parker has organized a new group show titled Systems For Sharing, running at Deptford’s Old Tidemill Wildlife Gardens from September 25 to October 4.
The show, which is comprised of artworks and objects acquired through exchange, creates a reversal of sorts—the exhibitors become the participants and the participants the exhibitors.
Featuring the works of Jaakko Pallasvuo, Rachael Archibald and Andrew Thorpe among others, Systems For Sharing examines—while utilizing—the act of exchange and its role in contemporary conversations about life, worth, and material.
