24 July 2014

The first event of the new Syndrome series is hosted by a.P.A.t.T. and takes place at their Liverpool location on July 25.

The new session by the research and performance programme focus on novel approaches to emotional, political and technological control, the pop-up Kitchen Street space having been re-calibrated by a.P.A.t.T. into an industrial dystopia using spatialised sound and project mapping.

Alongside a.P.A.t.T., the event will feature ‘Qwop Dance’ by glitch artists Antonio RobertsRachel Sweeney, a performance of ‘The Nodes of Thamsanqua Jantjie’ (a play by Mark Greenwood and Nathan Jones, with music by a.P.A.t.T. and movement by Sarah Hume), as well as DJs from The Hive Collective.
