Piotr Łakomy and Christopher LG Hill presented joint exhibition Kingsize at Sydney’s Sydney, which opened October 25 and ran to November 25.
Through collaboration, overlap and conversation between individual works, the show explores “scale, support and hierarchy.” Apartment living is used as a space to pick apart size, view and architecture as it relates to power.
The installation is a sculptural assemblage that includes found objects engaging in a meta-narrative of ‘the box’ and makes reference to Polish adult fantasy film Kingsajz (1988), as well ideas from Le Corbusier.**
