Heike-Karin Foell presents solo exhibition Ma line at Paris’ Tonus opening October 16 and running to November 5.

Curated by Maurin Dietrich and Cathrin Mayer, the show will open during the week of major Paris-based art fair FIAC and it’s smaller fringe event Paris Internationale. The Berlin-based artist will present new work which reflects on “the boundaries of legibility, accessibility and (re)presentation modes that relate to the impermanence of messages we read continually.”

The installation will trickle out of the space and into the surrounding area, expanding onto the nearby street, a subway station and a commercial storefront. Looking at ’emotional dis/orientation,’ the works ask how to ‘trace the presence of a body’ through leftovers, borders and things that merge and are on the verge.
