Artist duo Pinar&Viola are presenting their new exhibition Mother Earth in Paris running at Paris’ Gleichapel from December 5 to 27.
Founded by artists Pinar Demirdağ and Viola Renate in Amsterdam in 2009, the duo recently resettled in the French capital where they will be unveiling their “revamped, contemporary, environmentalist messages of peace” in a media work that represents for their aesthetic “visual activism”.
The Mother Earth installation is inspired by its namesake and depicts what they call “the sacredness of nature, the beauty and attractiveness of altruism” via the stylistic and conceptual imagery of “healing plants” and “her [being Mother Nature’s] grace and wisdom on a screen.”
