news

The Arroyo Seco Garden Golf Classic group exhibition is on in a pool in Los Angeles’ Altadena called TARP, on October 18.

Presented by SPF15 the show is part of an ongoing series of exhibitions curated by Katie Bode and appearing across eight sites around the lower Arroyo Seco watershed. This one is “an exhibition as miniature golf course”, uniting “private yards ad alternative art spaces… in an artistic experience of kitsch and play”.

The event is part of an effort to shift the gallery space from the white cube to a more casual and intimate environment between work and viewer, and will show work by Connor Creagan, Audrey Hope, Angie Jennings, Chris Warr and Allison Wiese, among others.

See the FB event page and the project page for details.**
