Annual digital art festival Sights & Sound is coming back to Montreal for its 2015 edition, running at Eastern Bloc from May 20 to 24.

This year’s theme, “Hyperlocal”, explores “horizontality of artistic production network and its contextualisation in an ultra-located space”, inviting artists whose practices take place in real-time, dislocating real and virtual spaces, producing non-linear narratives, and acting “with and in the “network” as a medium”.

The 2015 lineup includes 23 artists, including Canada’s Vincent Charlebois, Simon Laroche, and Myriam Bleau, as well as the UK’s Christopher Haworth and Martin Howse, the US’s Philip David Stearns, France’s Nicolas Maigret, and Finland’s Marko Timlin.
