Underground duo 18+ release their latest two-song EP, titled ‘Crow / Horn’, on August 4 on famous London electronic label, Houndstooth Records.
The low-profile pair of cross-disciplinary artists, producers and performers have yet to put out an official long-playing release but have been making a steady stream of good tracks over the past years, including their acclaimed mixtape trilogy (of which only MIXTA2E and MIXTA3E are online).
There’s also an endless catalogue of appropriated sounds and video footage on their YouTube account and a track (‘Bitch feat. C Powers‘) inspired by one of few live performances at last year’s Venice Biennale.
They round off the summer with the sleazy vocals and minimal electronics of ‘Crow’ and ‘Horn’, both appearing online in the past, but now cut and mastered by Matt Colton of London’s legendary AIR Studios.
