Vitrine Gallery is hosting the latest solo exhibition from Matt Welch titled don’t we We run run things things?! at their London space from July 24 to August 16.
The multimedia installation – its name taken and flipped from a lyric in the Miley Cyrus song ‘We Can’t Stop’ – consists of everything from silent videos to wall paintings, working to transform both the physicality and coinciding emotionality of the space.
In addition to the exhibition, Welch and exhibition curator Vlada Maria Tcharyeva have collaborated on a free mixtape which contains a selection of pop songs by Tcharyeva that were later edited, altered and overdubbed by Welch.
