A quick reminder that tomorrow opens in Paris the 2012 edition of “Jeune Création“! The annual event which has been held for the past 3 years at the flamboyant CentQuatre will host for a week the works of 62 international artists which have been selected this year from over 2000 submissions.

Why we like so much this annual selection it’s because of the large number of mediums and art disciplines used throughout the whole showcasing.

7 days that kick-off tomorrow with the opening of the exhibition & vernissage and the awards announcement at 6p.m. followed by a Sunday filled with talks and conferences around the culture-crisis relationship or today’s artists status. The following week starts next Wednesday with a day dedicated to sound art, while Thursday and Friday will mainly be dedicated to programming and video art.

The rest of the days there will be free-entry daily performances and gatherings that we’re pretty sure will find a warmth welcome amongst the Parisian public.
